Most of my notes have ended up in folders. For my novel (and potential sequels) I had a banker's box filled with them.
LibreOffice used to be "StarOffice" in the ancient days of computing before the code was open-sourced. It's come a long way. Been using it a lot lately (cancelled my MS365 account).
Lately I've been using a wiki for world-building and outlining. ZIM wiki is free but it's entirely desktop so I have to manage my own backups (which is okay with me).
These are both a lot fancier than my method of writing everything in google docs 😍 will probs give Notion a look. Sounds like what I look for in a notes app.
This is helpful! It’s so hard to keep everything organized—especially starting out!!
